When wine is aged in fine oak barrels, a portion evaporates - winemakers call this the 'Angels Share.' From this, the koonara Angel was born. This wine is named after my beautiful wife Nicole, who has piercing blue eyes with hints of yellow, making them look silver. A great example of a cool climate year in Coonawarra with fresh coffee and dark chocolate layered with fresh blackberries and spice. Aged for 18 months in 100% French oak 300L Hogsheads.
