Sharmans Wines2016 Riesling
About this product
This elegant Tasmanian wine has been grown & produced in Relbia, on the outskirts of Launceston.
The vines, first planted on the property in 1986, marked the beginning of the Relbia region producing premium cool climate wines.
The Riesling fruit is allowed to ripen fully before harvest and it is then gently pressed before fermentation. Fermentation is stopped before complete dryness to give an off sweet wine presenting a nose of bubble-gum and juicy tropical fruits with a hint of spice. The wine has a rich full palate of jasmine, wisteria and clove balanced with fresh vibrant fruit characteristics and a crisp citrus backbone.
