About this product
50% of the fruit was whole bunch pressed, with the balance of juice derived from saignée (“bleed-off”). Our Estate Rosé is now in its 7th vintage of our unique stylistic venture, adopting and hybridising the traditional Rosé styles from northern Spain and southern France. It is a complex Rosé of serious character and intensity, beginning with aromas of strawberry, cranberry and quince. Layered primary characters of subtle notes of Turkish delight and watermelon. Savoury aromatics of musk stick and caraway are underpinned by summer fruits. A tension between richness and bright freshness creates a deep palate which is long and focused. The wine’s weighty texture melds seamlessly with tart red berry fruits; it lingers long and resoundingly, leaving the drinker intrigued and needing more.
