This selection from our Glen Garvald Range offers 3 beautifully crafted wines which showcase the versatility of the Yarra as a premium wine region. Made up of 3 blended wines - White Blend No.1, Chardonnay and Rose.
The 2023 Chardonnay is a single-vineyard wine and represents our first steps in exploring the clonal possibilities for extending and enhancing the prospects for continued premium Chardonnay production on the Yarra Valley floor in a warming climate. We have incorporated a small percentage of Grenache Blanc in this first point of our learning curve. The wine walks a measured line between tension and weight,
sinew and silk. 95% Chardonnay, 5% Grenache Blanc. This wine is vegan-friendly.
2023 White Blend No. 1 - Takes its lead from the estimable blends of the southern Rhône Valley, built around a foundation of Grenache Blanc, with Marsanne and Roussanne. We seek to find a vintage-specific synergy from a harmonious blend resulting in a wine expression beyond the limited range afforded to the singular grape varieties when bottled in isolation. 55% Marsanne, 26% Grenache Blanc, 19% Roussanne. This wine is vegan-friendly.
2025 Rose - This wine takes its stylistic and varietal cues from the intense, dry and savoury styles of France’s Southern Rhône Valley where Grenache Noir is overwhelmingly the main variety utilized in rosé and red wine production. The Rosé represents our continued forays into unlocking the potential of Grenache and its sun loving Mediterranean stablemates as potential key future varieties of the Yarra Valley.
74% Grenache Noir, 12% Mourvèdre, 12% Carignan, 2% Cinsault. This wine is vegan-friendly.
