Levantine HillGlen Garvald PB White 2019
About this product
Slowly unfolding in the glass to reveal its multiple layers, it leads with aromas of mandarin, musk, pot pourri, chervil, cloves, dried oregano and crème brûlée; with subtle savoury elements of dusty oak and slate. The complex palate highlights the interplay between the varieties with a fine acid base carrying juicy fruit flavours interplaying with a buttery viscosity and slow spreading tactile phenolics. A true food and cheese lover’s wine!

The Wine Front
All hail the white blend. This one is 45% Muscadelle, 30% Roussanne, 12% Viognier, 7% Sauvignon Blanc, 4% Semillon and 2% Chardonnay. It is a lovely, lovely wine. So much tension, so much texture, so quartz-like to boot. This is dry, chalky and honeyed at once. Sparks fly, sans flint. Yellow stone fruit, green apple and white flower flavours run with the texture, It offers a tense kind of tension, like a well-paced drama. Excellence.
