About this product

The idea of blending grape varieties to create a wine of amplified expression, structure, integration and balance; harnessing each components individual strengths to fashion a wine greater than the sum of its manifold components, has long held a fascination for us as wine producers. We are seeking to find and enhance a vintage-specific synergy and harmony from a complementary blend which results in a wine above and beyond the limited range of expression afforded to the singular grape varieties when bottled in isolation. As such, this wine will find its own unique voice with every vintage and no two vintages will ever be varietally or proportionally the same.
Slowly unfolding in the glass to reveal its multiple layers, it leads with aromas of mandarin, musk, pot pourri, chervil, cloves, dried oregano and crème brûlée; with subtle savoury elements of dusty oak and slate. The complex palate highlights the interplay between the varieties with a fine acid base carrying juicy fruit flavours interplaying with a buttery viscosity and slow spreading tactile phenolics. A true food and cheese lover’s wine!
