Named after a historical surveyor's geographic marker overlooking our vineyard, these wines represent winemaker Paul Bridgeman's varietal and replanting response to climate change. Each wine is a product of uncompromised craftsmanship, using fruit exclusively sourced from our Maroondah Highway vineyard. These wines are unbound by recent convention. Instead, using varieties hitherto uncommon to the region and a marriage of new and old techniques and exciting blends, Glen Garvald represents our very own historical marker for the future of modern winemaking in the Yarra Valley.
This wine represents the vanguard of our exploration looking beyond traditional single varietals to the possibilities of a greater range of expression and character through the blending of multiple grape varieties. This blend of four Bordeaux varieties brings approachability, structure, complexity, texture and food-friendliness as the greater sum of the parts.

Medium bodied white wines have a lightly textured mouthfeel with moderate flavour impact. Often pale lemon coloured to pale gold.
