A bigger, more plush wine than the 50-year-old, showing amazing density and concentration, flesh and fruit sweetness, and smoky oak char. A thoroughly decadent wine, very powerful. Great concentration, with big, robust tannins. A whopper of a wine, amazingly powerful and profound, with almost endless persistence. Most impressive. Fruitcake and graphite. Extraordinary wine.
