Single Barrel 03: Agave Finish 500mL

An extremely limited release of Ned Whisky drawn from a single barrel which had been seasoned with Australian Agave Anejo spirit.
This whisky is the result of our union with Australian Agave Project. Our appetite for innovation and excellence delivered an exquisite Australian Agave Anejo spirit aged for 20 months in a specially-chosen Ned barrel. This barrel, layered with the sweetness of cooked agave and whisky’s dark chocolate, vanilla and orange peel, was replenished with Ned Whisky and aged to create a refined single barrel release, rarely seen anywhere in the world.
This whisky has the hallmarks of classic agave merged with the warmth and smoothness of whisky. Sweet with a backbone of agave, the whisky’s mellowness is balanced by a touch of spice and citrus to deliver an elegant finish with lingering agave character.
With less than 525 bottles of our Single Barrel Agave Finish, this is one of our smallest releases of whisky to date. Each bottle is individually numbered.
Tasting Notes:
Aroma: Classic agave with caramel and soft oak. Warm and smooth whisky with plenty of agave spice and citrus.
Taste: Sweet mellow whisky, agave structure and a nicely balanced touch of heat at the end.
Finish: Elegant with lingering agave character.
