Prolific Australian wine reviewer for Fairfax Media and The Real Review

Vintage 2020
91 points The Real Review
Medium to deep ruby colour with a tinge of purple. The reserved aromas invoking pepper, baked-earth and old leather, with some developed fruit in the background. The palate is medium to full-bodied, drying and very savoury. Some acidity helps firm the aftertaste. It's forward but very appealing and accurately represents the sangiovese grape. 22 SEP 2021. 2021–2028. AUD 27.50 BOTTLE (STORE).

Vintage 2021
92 points Wine Orbit
Sweetly ripe and inviting, the bouquet shows red cherry, dried herb, toasted spice and floral notes, followed by a juicy palate offering bright fruit flavours combined with fine texture and chalky tannins. Well structured and varietally expressive. At its best: now to 2026. $25.00. www.fielddaywineco.com. March 2022.
