About this product

This gloriously full-bodied wine is the first Mr. Riggs Sparkling Shiraz in my Generation Series. Following traditions unique to our region, this sparkling builds its base from mature, developed McLaren Vale Shiraz. It's finished off with a small batch of fortified vintage Shiraz - let's call it the final push from The Iron Lady, the most famous Battle-Axe of them all.

I am partial to a McLaren Vale shiraz and thoroughly enjoyed this sparkling for summer. It has a nice full bodied flavour and is pleasantly dry on the palate. Highly recommend for those who are looking for a summer red with good flavour.
