Cassis Noir de Bourgogne (blackcurrant) Premium Liquor took a Gold medal at reveared San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and another Gold at Beverage Testing Institute Chicago, USA. Made exclusively from the delicate Noir de Bourgogne Blackcurrant variety from Loire Valley. Produced via a slow maceration using neutral alcohol. A complexity and depth of flavours enhanced by the cassis flower buds. Sweet but not syrupy. A dark, purplish blue. Rated 5 Plus Stars on renowned Difford’s Guide.

Well rounded, elegant, complex, with a slight tannins and acidity but nothing off putting rather epitomising the true taste of blackcurrants. Very aromatic, thickly covering the walls of my glass, perhaps, another one is needed to celebrate
