About this product
Winery founded by Yarra Valley legend, this wine shows intense red berries, blackberry, red current and liquorice with notes of cassia bark lifted by fine oak aromas from 18 months maturation in French and American Oak. The palate is rich and concentrated with dark berry fruit, black cherry, chocolate and carob brought to the fore with delicate oak spiciness and full well rounded tannins providing structure and length of flavour.

Medium deep colour. Fresh cassis. blueberry aroms with touches of dark chocolate and roasted walnut. Palate is slinky textured and medium-bodied with pure blackcurrant, herb garden flavours, underlying roasted walnut, praline notes and fine looseknit grainy tannins. Finishes chalky slightky al-dente firm and tangy.
