Gushing delivery of fruit and oak flavour. Upfront and eager to please. Malt, cedar wood, cream and ripe, sun-shot peach. Toast. Sure, rich presentation of fruit but impossible to discuss this wine without mention of oak. Grainy/textural through the finish. You want flavour? This plates a generous serve.

Complex, faintly smoky aromas of cumquat, grapefruit and melon backed by waxy notes of minerals, cloves and cinnamon precede a sweetly caked palate of full to medium weight. It''s long and luscious, fine and elegant, with an almost filly core of intense fruit underpinned by a fine, wet slate-like texture, finishing long and complete, with savoury and mineral aspects.
