About this product

St Leonards Vineyard Chardonnay hails from a 30 year old single vineyard site which produces low yielding fruit. A lovely, sophisticated, modern style of Rutherglen Chardonnay with intense fresh lifted stone-fruit characters, slight fermentation complexity and the merest hint of new and old French oak. Crafted for immediate enjoyment with fish or white meat dishes and a crisp green salad.

Definitely a modern style of Chardonnay which is my preference. Good tank and French oak fermentation balance. Enjoyable vanilla and citrus tones.
