Wonderfully fruited and inviting, the wine shows crème de cassis, dark cherry, tobacco, cedar and violet aromas on the nose, followed by a concentrated palate that is supple and fleshy. The wine offers terrific fruit power and intensity, brilliantly structured by loads of fine, chalky tannins, finishing long and engaging. At its best: 2020 to 2028.

Includes 12% malbec, hand-picked, destemmed, 13 days on skins, pressed to French barriques (33% new) for 9 months maturation. Is still on the road to maturity, but the juicy cassis fruit and quality French oak have come together well. It will be a medium-bodied cabernet that will drink well for many years.
