This kosher slivovitz, originally intended only for the overseas market, has been brought to market even in the Czech Republic to satisfy the demand for this type of spirit. It is a very special slivovitz, probably unique worldwide in that it is certified kosher pesah – kosher for Passover, one of the most important Jewish holidays. We achieve this highest degree of kosher with a combination of modern technologies and the traditional workmanship of Vizovice’s distillers, which together constitute a production process that is a strict trade secret.
Only the highest-quality plums harvested by hand are used for production. Then follows a triple distillation of the ripe plum mash.
Its fragrance carries the sweet almond scent of plum pits, and the traditional production method ensures that the flavour is delicate and fruity, reminiscent of almonds.
