With such an imposing symbol that has endured for more than six centuries, comes an equally impressive beer. As the dragon adorns the top of the city, Gulden Draak has been among the world’s top beers for years. It is a dark tripel, which in itself makes it an exceptional beer, but its complex flavor with notes of caramel, roasted malt and coffee makes it unique.
In short, the beer is worthy of its name.
A wine yeast is used for secondary fermentation, which determines the incomparable taste and ensures the long-term evolution of taste (equal too living beer). The older the beer gets, the more aroma it acquires and the fuller the flavor and color become.
So it is well worth keeping a few large bottles and letting them age over many years.

Dark barley wine, ruby red tripel.

Aroma
Malty-sweet undertone. dried fruits (figs) and a mild spicy touch (cloves).
Flavour
Full malty attack, caramel. spicy blend of fragrance. balanced. Clear presence of alcohol, but nicely carried by a solid body.
