Gulden Draak Brewmaster is an ode by the sixth generation master brewer to the previous generations of brewers of the Van Steenberge brewery, to the craftsmanship of our traditional brewing art and in particular to the fifth generation brewer: Jozef Van Steenberge, who, around the year 1975, immersed himself in specialty beers, combined with the experiments of the new Craft beer world.
Gulden Draak Brewmaster Family
At the Gulden Draak Brewmaster, brewers will age the base brew of the Gulden Draak Classic in wooden barrels derived from distilled spirits, subject to availability.
STYLE
Wood-aged infused.
VIEW
Amber with slight orange glow, very bright with a fine white head.
AROMA
Caramel, candy sugar, wood (barrel, cedar), whiskey, vanilla, yeast and an alcohol boost.
FLAVOUR
Sweet and smooth attack, caramel, malt, candy sugar, butterscotch, cedar, yeast and alcohol.
INGREDIENTS
Water, barley malt, sugar, hops, yeast and caramel.
