Quintessentially McLaren Vale, the wine has a rich, full palate brimming with dark berry fruits, coffee and spice characteristics finishing with soft, lengthy tannins. A cracking wine of great substance and exceptional balance.

A really good McLaren Vale red

I've been a McLaren Vale fan for years and the Beresford shiraz has cemented that. As good a red as I've had this year with good body, length, colour etc. This is the first time I've drunk a Beresford. Sure won't be the last!

No standout quality. Not a fine balanced finish to savour- no varietal characteristic. Not offensive but not of $20 value. Maybe a $12dollar bottle.
