Howard VineyardPicnic Rose 2017
About this product
The 2017 Picnic Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc Rose grapes were picked at night to limit colour, chilling in the press for 8 hours to preserve the delicate varietal characters. Gently and slowly press the grapes, giving low extraction and intensity of fruit. Aromas of cherry, strawberry and musk lead on to a fresh and lively palate with an abundance of red cherries and strawberries. This wine is savoury in style, with crisp, crunchy finish. Its dryness makes for a top aperitif style.

Rose petal, spice cherry, pot-pouri, strawberries and cream, fresh and fragrant palate of mouth puckering lime and grapefruit. Persistent finish. A very pretty wine and a convincing rose style.
