Tobala Mezcal

In Zapotec (pre-hispanic culture from central Mexico) "Jolgorios" are moments of joy, celebration and rememberance. El Jolgrio Mezcal has created a range of artisinal Mezcales which reflect Mexican culture and tradition. This Mezcal is produced exclusively from Agave Tobala, one of the most prized of all wild and semi-cultivated Agaves. Growing at high altitudes and between rocks and boulders, its tiny size yields limited quantities of intensely aromatic and sweet Mezcal. Due to its tiny size and long growing period Agave Tobala is increasingly rare.
