Tepeztate Mezcal

In Zapotec (pre-hispanic culture from central Mexico) "Jolgorios" are moments of joy, celebration and rememberance. El Jolgrio Mezcal has created a range of artisinal Mezcales which reflect Mexican culture and tradition. This Mezcal is produced exclusively from Agave Tepeztate; considered the king of Agaves by many for its longevity and sheer size. This wild agave can often be found hanging horizontally from mountain cliffs and although appears large to the eye, only produces small quantities of Mezcal.
