Shiraz Cabernet - A brightly coloured, great Aussie blend that shows ripe, velvety fruit in the dark plum, blackberry and black cherry range with hints of oak spice, violets, licorice, olive tapenade, dried herbs and roasting meats. There is a ferrous-rust edge to the palate, thick with black fruits, tight, sandy tannin and an exit that tends towards graphite and broodiness.
