Under WrapsBarossa Shiraz 2017
About this product
The wine is glorious upon release and will develop even greater complexity with cellaring for up to 10 years.
Vintage experienced wetter than average pre harvest winter and spring, pushing back timing by up to a month. Shiraz picking began in mid to late February and with good soil moisture and cooler temperatures, the vines looked healthy. The fruit was allowed to ripen more slowly and this gradual development of fruit sugars created a sophisticated style that copes with higher alcohol levels.
Selected from the finest Barossa grapes and matured in French oak barriques for 24 months.
