Dry, Full Bodied style of Chardonnay
PALATE
Smooth and full-bodied, the ripe fruits of peach, citrus and
plush cantaloupe are balanced with creamy vanillin oak.
AROMA
Excellent aromas of ripe tropical and stone fruits with a hint of green apple and vanilla.
WINEMAKING
Picked in the cool of the evening at optimal ripeness, the wine was tank fermented to dry to maintain fruit intensity and freshness. Benefitting from the influence of French oak the wine was then bottled to preserve the fresh fruit flavours from the vine to the glass. The 2017 vintage was wetter than usual and followed by 3 days of heat which cooled to allow an even ripening period prior to harvest.
