Fruit from 90yo vines, hand-picked and hand-sorted, open-fermented and then matured in French and American oak for 30 months. Rich and ripe all the way through, with generous fruit, oak and alcohol all part of the equation. In this vein it's well balanced, and offers distinctive varietal expression, albeit in a full-on style
