More tense than the Barossan cuvee, while playing the same degree of reductive tension across a perfumed, highly floral nose. The oak regime, similar, although this wine spent 21 months in a combo. of French and American wood; the Barossa expression 24. The finish to this full-bodied red is tightly wound. The best is yet to come.
