The 2018 Antiquarian Pinot Noir Shiraz is the third release of this unique blend of Shiraz and Pinot Noir picked in our Clare vineyard. The Pinot was hand picked, from a multiclonal vineyard, with 9 clones across the tiny space is a very unique block.
A palate rich mouth-watering array of intense black fruits and spices, fine linear silky tannins, all brought together with refined cedar oak.

Medium bodied red wines have a lightly textured mouthfeel with moderate flavour impact. Often medium in colour.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

A retro-blend, increasingly seen as an homage to some of Australia's great craftsmen/women and the country's greatest wines. The letterbox of reduction is mitigated by pinot's gentleness, imparting an ease to the chord of pulpy blue fruit, lilac and iodine at the wine's core. Ripe shiraz, the culprit to be sure.
