Crystal glass, machine made. VINUM (1986) is Riedel's basic stemmed series. Based on the Sommeliers series shapes, it was created by Georg Riedel to make their varietal-specific glassware more widely accessible. The finely tuned shape of this glass harmonizes the aroma and the taste of Cognac, tempering the alcohol and the stringency of the palate and emphasizing the bouquet. The flute-shaped glass allows its contents a very small evaporation surface. Riedel glasses are dishwasher safe.
