Prime SpotTignus Cabernet Sauvignon Cinsault 2016
About this product
Prime Spot Tignus is the project of Laibach Winemaker Francois van Zyl. The wine is a 50:50 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon & Cinsault. Van Zyl sources the Cabernet from old unirrigated bush vines in Stellenbosch, and the Cinsault from Paarl.
Tasting notes:
On the nose, cranberry, cherries and plums plus some pleasing herbal character while the palate is medium bodied with lovely fruit expression, bright acidity and fine but still grippy tannins. 92 Points - Christian Eedes, Winemag.co.za
