This unique beer is a classical dark beer brewed to be full and rich. There is a perfect mix of malt flavours, three different caramel malts produce a beer with slightly sweet, complex malt character and prominent alcohol flavours, typical of the classic style bock. Balmain Bock has just enough bitterness to cleanse the palate for another one.

I hate it when it's not available for a long time... quite tasty beer with strong enough flavor. became a fan ever since I drank it for the first time

This recipe used to be (still May be) brewed at the Picton (NSW) pub where I first sampled it. A great dark rich beer to be enjoyed anytime, good deep malty flavour. Just enjoy.
