Barossa Valley Shiraz 2019 #7

This Gold medal winning Shiraz has attractive spicy red fruit on the nose with a dense palate starting with toasty oak and evolving into fleshy plum flavours. It's been matured in American oak (40% new hogsheads, the balance used barrels) for 14 months and is ready to enjoy now, with a few years bottle age, though can be cellared to 2035. Four critics, both local and iternational have scored this in the 90s, as high as 94 points.
