About this product

• From a stunning Barossa red wine vintage of low yields and exceptional quality – one of the greats that produced classic Greenock Creek styled wines of robust flavour and firm structure • Sourced from a single block on the Westlake vineyard at Moppa in the rolling hills of the north western corner of the Barossa Valley. The site is a field of ancient quartz and marble stone, and yields fruit of satisfying density with wild berries, anise and hints of sweet spice on the nose and palate. • Fermented in open slate fermenters for 7 days, basket pressed and matured in 20% new French and a balance of seasoned American oak for 18 months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. • As is the Greenock Creek tradition, this wine will reward patience and cellaring, while being deliciously approachable as a young wine.
