For whilst Tom was blessed with exceptional winemaking talent, a love of wine and great zeal for life, the development of this label and release of the first wine in 2016 was an integral piece of his valiant yet ultimately unsuccessful 9 year battle to overcome bowel cancer. As a devoted family friend Belinda Hughes has taken on responsibility for DEAD MAN WALKING to keep Tom’s winemaking vision alive, whilst also providing for his son’s education through placing part proceeds from the sale of each bottle into a trust fund.
