Deep colour. Nose of cool, red fruits with a mineral tang. Elegant, yet intense palate with fresh red fruits; currant, cherry, a cool floral note and lots of minerals. Not particularly earthy like many Gevreys. The overall impression is a wine of elegance with considerable power lurking below. Fine and punchy. A lovely wine.
