There is only one maker of Bonnes-Mares from the Morey side and that is Domaine Fougeray de Beauclair. They farm 1.20 hectares of the old Clair-Dau vineyard and bottle the wine without any Chambolle fruit. Very aromatic nose - red and black fruits, crushed minerals, violets, spices and a hint of earth. This has excellent volume with serious concentration and silky sweet 2016 fruit.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
