Vignobles DamptChablis 1er Cru Les Fourneaux 2018
About this product
The 2018 Chablis Fourneaux 1er Cru is one of the more easygoing wines in this range. Soft, supple and inviting, the Fourneaux is not super-complex, but it makes up for that with its sheer appeal. Spice, mint and dried flowers add shades of nuance to a core of orchard fruit flavors. With a bit more depth, the Fourneaux might have merited a slightly more positive note. I find it just a bit compact, but nicely done just the same

Full bodied white wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with good palate weight and full flavours.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
