Domaine Chevillon-ChezeauxNuits-St-Georges 1er Cru Les Porets 2016
About this product
Located south of the village near Les St Georges. Dark red. Broader, wilder aromatics than the previous wines. The nose suggests liquorice mixed with some dark fruit sensations. The soil is gravelly and this adds depth and power. The tannins are quite defined but are fine and well coated by the fresh, vibrant 2016 fruit. Like all good 2016’s there is plenty to make the wine very drinkable now but this cuvee really demands some time in the cellar.
