Domaine ColletChablis Valmur Grand Cru 2019
About this product
The plot is situated in mid-valley, on the reverse slope, planted in 1972. In barrel, as yet unracked. This will go to tank before the harvest and be bottled the following March. Clear pale colour with the lightest green tint. The fruit is fighting to emerge from behind the, somewhat, buttery barrel. This shows the slightly Côte d’Or, muscular character, which is typical of Valmur. Less mineral, but it does have grand cru intensity.
