About this product

50% is made in amphora, 50% new wood, whence it will, soon be blended to tank. The new wood component (always from the same cooper) has been their practice in 2008, though I cannot see why you would want to do that with this vineyard. Fine pale colour., some fruit weight and, some tension here, the new oak is detectable on the nose, but integrates well enough. It delivers much more weight behind, hides the Séchets character to, some extent. Good wine, but maybe not my wine.
