Very floral with cherry, marzipan and violets. The palate is intense and mouthfilling with layers of juicy fruit and a mineral cut. The mouthfeel is one feature of this vineyard that few Pommard can match. There is a velvet texture from old vines and low cropping. The tannins are there but are so well coated by the fruit so their influence is really just a support act. Another exceptional Clos de la Boucherottes and highly recommended.
