Vines 30–50 years old. 25% whole bunch and 25% new oak. Very spicy and dark. Lots of peppery spice on the nose and a sort of wild-fruit character. Chewy on the palate, with wild-cherry flavours. Dense and packed with fruit but has complementary freshness. Deep and chewy on the finish. Honest and deeply flavoured.
