Russian Imperial Stout 2017

A big, bold, luscious, rich beer pouring jet-black with a deep red hue and a foamy almost-purple head. Aromas of roasted malt, dark chocolate and fruitcake emerge from the glass. Each sip is a delight across the taste buds with a decadent mouth-feel carrying the big flavours. Initial sweetness gives way to a bitterness that balances the beer while not overwhelming the complexity of such a big brew.
