Farrah EstateChardonnay 2019
About this product
The mild weather this growing season made for a longer than usual ripening period. This produced more intense fruit characters and coupled with the fine acid, has produced a well balanced and fruit driven wine.
Colour: Light golden hues
Nose: Stone fruits of peach and nectarine with a hint of cream
Palate: Peach and buttery overtones with nice oak integration have produced a beautifully balanced wine with lovely full middle palate balanced by zesty acid that leaves a clean long finish.
Food Match: Caesar salad or creamy vegetable dishes
Winemakers Comments: The intensity of the fruit allowed for restrained oak, so I worked on that with an aim for balance with the natural acid.
