Bare Hands Shiraz is a great expression of Padthaway South Australia. A palate of ripe dark berry fruits, cedar, mocha and a hint white pepper. Hand crafted in small batches, this wine is ready to drink now or will age gracefully for up to 10 years.

The Bare Hands Padthaway Shiraz is a good example of an 'ordinary' Barossa Shiraz - Has the right colour, the right smell, and some strength to the fruit. But its not spectacular and its not bad - its just a really good red for a weeknight

For a supposedly 95 pointer I'm surprised. The aniseed/licorice is overpowering to be reminisent of senega and ammonia. Maybe best kept for winter colds.
