The Pousse dOr Domaine at Volnay was established in 1954. The wine is aged on the lees in oak barrels (30% new) for 15 months.
It is golden in color with amber reflections. The nose reveals aromas of white flowers, ripe grapes, and marzipan, all coated with honeyed nuances. In the mouth, we find the very beautiful expression of evolved Chardonnay: a beautiful concentration of aromas and a long finish.
