About this product

This chestnut makgeolli has a sweet and tastes strongly of chestnuts. Strong but smooth, the sweetness helps mask the alcohol content. Interestingly, though the makgeolli does not feel too fizzy on the palate, in the bottle, the makgeolli is very bubbly and splashes out of the bottle when disturbed.

One again, great refreshing, slightly carbonated, very delish, BUT Dan Murphy’s NEVER have it in stock. Very disappointing.

We initially discovered makgeolli in a Korean restaurant... went to dan murphies and tried this one- the best! Our new favorite! Hope they keep stocking it!
