The wine shows lovely ripe fruit notes of mandarin, golden peach and apple with hints of spice and honey on the nose. The palate is succulent and beautifully rounded, delivering creamy texture and subtle sweetness, backed by vibrant acidity. It is flavoursome and very attractive. Style: Off-dry. At its best: now to 2022.

This is a very enticing off dry style. O.K. not "off dry", more like, "sweet", but sweet in a very deliberate and lip smacking way. The very obviously high grade fruit has been allowed to hang and accumulate sugar until late into the season, yet retaining good acid balance.. The fully ripened grapes hold wickedly delicious flavours like freshly cut apricot, dried apricot, orange, lime zest, floral notes and a gentle spiciness. Make no mistake, these wines are hard to get right. Perfect tension between fruit and acidity is difficult to achieve. They've got it right. Yum.
