Pheasant's TearsRkatsiteli
About this product
Rkatsiteli is the most planted grape in Caucaus Georgia, a region that has been producing wine for over 8000 years with little having changed in the manner of production. Commonly known as orange wine, the Georgians prefer the term - amber wine: a white wine, made like a red wine by keeping the juice on skins for months, then fermented in clay amphoras called qvervi. A nose of honey and herbs belies a bone dry and savoury wine that is full-bodied with notes of walnut, apricot and tannin.
