Dry, Light Bodied style of Pinot NoirPairs well with DuckThis vintage includes fruit from a number of blocks from different aspects of their vineyards. The fruit was cold-soaked for 36 hours prior to being wild fermented in stainless steel. Fowles Wines have matured this wine in 50% new French oak puncheons and old French oak casks for six months. Added to the final blend is 5.7% Mouvedre providing brightness of fruit and colour and 3% Sangiovese, adding complexity and savoury notes.

Light bodied red wines have a water-light mouthfeel and light flavour impact. Often pale to light/medium in colour.

A "wild ferment" pinot noir made with the addition of small amounts of mourvedre and sangiovese. It's tightly packed, but still definitively pinot in character. Bright cherry and plum notes with touches of earthy, roasted beet, smoked meat and mint create admirable complexity and depth; enough to match with full flavoured meat dishes, like coq au vin.
